Catechism Program & First Holy Communion Preparation
for 2022:
Our Response  to COVID-19

Catechism Classes and First Holy Communion Preparation will begin this Saturday, October 16. We will meet from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the church basement. The program is for Grade 2 and up.

Tentative Dates Until the end of this year:

October 15, 22, 29

November 19, 26

December 3, 10

Please contact the Parish Office at 780-632-3433, or Christine Wolzl at 780-636-1466 ( if your child will be attending the Catechism Program or your child is eligible to receive their First Holy Communion in spring, so that enough materials can be prepared.


On September 15, the Government of Alberta issued a State of Public Health Emergency for the Province of Alberta.

New public health restrictions for places of worship have come into effect as of Thursday, September 16:

Places of Worship:

Mandatory Restriction - Effective September 16

Capacity limited to 1/3 of fire code occupancy*

(*For Holy Trinity Parish, this is a maximum of 68 parishioners present at each service)

  • Masks are mandatory

  • 2 metres physical distancing between households, or 2 close contacts for those living alone.

Weddings & Funerals:

Mandatory restriction - Effective September 20

  • Indoor wedding ceremonies & funeral services are permitted, with up to 50 people or 50% of fire code occupancy, whichever is less

  • Indoor wedding & funeral receptions are prohibited

  • Outdoor ceremonies, services & receptions are permitted with up to 200 people & must follow liquor sales & consumption restrictions (sales end at 10 pm, consumption by 11 pm

Divine Liturgies

Sundays: 9:00am (Ukrainian) & 11:15am (English)

Monday-Friday: 8:00am

Saturdays: 5:00pm

Holy days of Obligation: 10:00am and 7:00pm

Baptisms & funerals: By arrangement.

Marriages: By arrangement 8 months in advance. (Marriage preparation course required).

Confessions: During Sunday liturgies or by appointment.

Parish Office Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:30am  -12:00 pm and 1:00-4:30 pm. (Closed on Statutory Holidays & Holy Days of Obligation).

(Daily 8:00 am Divine Liturgies are celebrated Monday-Saturday)​​​

During the month of October, the Rosary is recited daily at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome.

Perogy Lunch & Supper Takeouts

Lunchtime Pickups: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Suppertime Pickups: 4:30-6:30 pm

$17.00/meal. Includes 6 perogies - cheddar, cottage, or a combo of 1/2 of each (comes with fried onion & sour cream); baked chicken, nachinka (cornmeal casserole), borscht, & dessert.

(Cash only, please).
